what do you do when your mom is a total bitch? i love her, and when she's nice we get along great, but that side of her doesn't come out very often and she can turn in an instant. she constantly overreacts and guilt trips me about (minor) things that i did years ago. i hate to say bad things about her and i know she's my mom and she means well but... she drives me crazy.

Anyone who continuously brings up the past, especially if she makes you feel guilty about it, should be pushed out of your life. Even though she's your mom, you still need to perform some damage control.
