I've been using this site for about a year, and a lot of the commenters are fantastic. Some have been really funny, and some have been truly insightful. However, I often see comments lecturing on how certain emotions are inappropriate, or how certain relationships must fail. These are aimed at taking away happiness so the commenter can feel holier-than-thou - they are bitter. Puritanical urges are the most reprehensible ones.

Same here. I'm a senior and it seems that everyone is getting what they want and need except me.
I'm afraid of succeeding.
So do something about it. Go see a career councilor, and talk to them about what you want to do. Look at volunteering opportunities. Find an internship. Get involved with groups on campus.

I met this amazing guy...We haven't hooked up, yet he is still pursuing me and wanting to hang out. We flirt and laugh, and there is definitely a strong attraction between us. It is so damn refreshing to spend time just getting to know someone. No pressure, no drama, no awkwardness. Just letting things unfold as they will. Also comforting to know that he is genuinely interested in ME as a person and not just sex. When we do have sex for the first time...I know it will feel amazing. Natural, comfortable, exhilarating...the real deal.

I can either have high self esteem and be alone or have my self image be tied to a girl. I try not to let it get to me but I just get too attached to people. I need to someday learn that how to not let it bring me down so hard, easier said than done.
