I have a huge crush on an RA in my dorm but I am not sure what to do. I'm afraid of what might happen and I'm not sure if she's completely into me. Is there anyway I could get in trouble???

1) 11/15/09 - Basically, RA's can't date their own residents, but if you're not on their floor there is still a chance. You would have to report the relationship too, so I wouldn't bother unless you think it's true love.
2) 11/15/09 - I'm an RA. It's really not a huge deal. The RA just has to report the relationship to her Hall Director. If you're on the same floor you may have to switch floors/dorms. Also, the RA won't be able to handle incidents that you're involved in. But you can avoid all of this if you two are smart about it and do relationship types of things where other residents on the floor can't see them, and if the RA is professional about it and doesn't pull obvious strings for you and doesn't bail you out of problems if you've done something wrong.
