I force myself to have new friends at college so my high school friends think I am as happy as they are. I don't like most of the people here. I have 2 real friends here and want to be secure enough with myself to let go of the fake ones.

1) 4/7/09 - Same here!
2) 4/7/09 - I'm the exact same way, but I don't even have fake friends. I lie to my high school friends and tell them I have tons of friends when I really only have two.
3) 4/11/09 - It's never just the place -- you have to seek out things you will find fulfilling.
4) 4/13/09 - I don't even have friends here. Why waste time on people you have to plan to see again if you're looking for friendship?
