I'm an out-of-state student from the midwest. I'm not spoiled, I'm not a huge partier, I consider myself lucky to be here, AND I am absolutely in love with Boulder and Colorado. I hear people complain about Boulder and the people who live here all the time...I don't understand why! There is good and bad in everything. Just look for the good, and there is soooo much good in Boulder/Colorado. If Boulder really makes you that pessimistic, I think you should move or transfer so people who appreciate it can move in.

completely completely agree. i get a lot of shit about going to this school but i ignore it because i'm happy here. this place is amazing.

i know how you feel. dont worry you will get through it. try not to think about it too much
that is not good advice. i used to have a similar problem and counseling worked really well
dont worry about it!!!! and definitely stay clear of any type of counseling or controlled thinking mechanisms. just take everyday as it comes and enjoy what you do. the rest will come on its own. youre living your life not anyone else's or society's.
