My grampa, now retired, lives alone with gramma. His kids dont talk to him. He grew up from an orphanage, had family,joined the navy. got shot at. worked 3 jobs to provide family. kids became sucessful. but now he sits at home, and no one calls :(. This shit makes me sad. For a real man who did exactly what a man is suppose to do, persevered, responsisble to his country and his family. You are my hero. Hope you know that I deeply respect you and think of you everyday. I have contemplated suicide (seriously or otherwise) almost every day since I was fourteen. Everyone says I'm one of the happiest people they've met, and the only reason I haven't gone through with it is because everyone will be realize the truth.

Doesn't sound like the people close to you really know you. If you can open up to them, your relationships with them would be more meaningful. Perhaps your unhappiness comes from a desire for more authentic connections with others.

I have double depression, anti-social personality disorder, and multiple personalities. I used to fantasize about killing all the time; I was so filled with anger. I didn't know when I was going to explode and dismember some pretentious jack off. That was till I met my girlfriend. Nobody has ever evoked such love and compassion in me. She makes me a kinder person, but I find difficulty coming to terms with her sexual history. The confusion is making me very tired. How can you love someone when your insides are a cacophony of angry conflicting voices. When can I be happy without the slivers of abject sorrow?
