On those brisk Colorado days, when it's 50 degrees out, I love looking around and pointing out the kids from Colorado and those who aren't.
Colorado kids are the ones wearing flip flops and maybe even shorts. This is hot for us! And than there is the California people, wrapped up in their jackets with uggs and scarves on. It makes me laugh.
I love being from Colorado. And yes, I wear flip flops whenever possible.

i'm from CO and i feel like it's the opposite. the colorado kids are the ones who know how to dress warm and the california kids are the idiots wearing flip flops when it snows.

I'm going to have to agree with the guy who commented. I'm usually very insulated when it's cold out. You couldn't pay me to wear flops when it is <50 out! And yes, I'm a native :)
