So I'm sitting here in my apartment with my best friend and her other friend. I love her to death and she is probably the person who knows me the best. But right now we are in different rooms, she is listening to the shallow, horrible contemperary music of today that lacks beautiful poetry and meaningfulness that i crave. And I sit out here alone listening to the poems that have shaped my life and say so much to me, and to everyone else if they would listen.
I'm not saying it's bad or wrong to enjoy the shallow music of today, even i enjoy it sometimes. But I feel so alone now. I miss all you kids who understood my passion for this music. I am so lonely. She won't even try to understand. She just says it's all so weird and boring. I feel like crying so hard right now. But I am not angry at her, don't get me wrong. I just need a musical connection with someone so badly.
